Accommodation during conference - with children

We welcome the heritage and little gene carriers who toddler around the forests! It flatters us that you are interested of spending your family vocation in Estonia. As we are in the middle of the forests, staying at the legendary student dormitory's, there will be shared rooms for 5-10 people, mostly bunk-beds. Most likely, all beds shall be put in to use.

Therefore we have created a list of possible accommodation places around our campus (up to 35km), where your family could stay undisturbed by the conference atmosphere during the evening.

Please note that the fee for Euroforester participant is not reduced, in case he/she decides to sleep in alternative accommodation. In case family members are participating on Euroforester events such as dinners or lunches, additional individual participation fee applies for them, too.

Vudila Playland

WE DON'T WANT TO SLEEP TODAY, WE WANT TO GO TO VUDILA! Vudila Playland has a large water park with slides and pools, a barrel sauna, swings, climbing frames, trampolines, skyjump, electric cars, ATV and buggy tracks, rowboats, water wheels, a large playroom, etc. Vudila Playland also offers dining and trout fishing. In December, Vudila turns into a Christmas Theme Park; during the second half of the winter, it hosts Vudila Hõbekala – a festival devoted to families and fish. Vudila Playland is located in Jõgeva County in Tabivere Rural Municipality, approximately 1.7 km from the Elistvere Animal Park, by the picturesque Lake Kaiavere.

Our centre is an attractive learning environment in which you are bound to learn something new. The majority of our exhibits are 'hands-on', so you can try everything yourself, whether it be the planetarium, the school laboratory pilot programme, creating educational materials or the science theatre. You can even host your own birthday party here, and visit our 4D cinema at the Lõunakeskus shopping centre, which is open every day. See you at AHHAA!
